12 million tons of plastic end up in our oceans and seas every year. More than 90% of the plastic fragments fall to the bottom of the ocean causing damage to the ecosystem and it harms the sea animals. In NEBBIA we care for our planet, cleannes of the oceans and for all the living there. We do not want to leave you taking care of the ecology alone. We want to be a part of this with you. We decided to pull together with a Spain company Seagual™️which is working with fishermen, non-governmental communities and departments focusing on elimination of waste in oceans.
Our first SeagualTM collection is made exactly of this plastic. The special technique for waste processing forms PET bottles into flakes and these are then changed into a 100% polyester fibre. This fibre can be used in various ways. In our case it’s used to made active wear. Your leggings, shorts or tops.
